Reticello (italian, "glass With A Small Network"), Is A Type Of Blown Glass Made With Canes Organized In A Crisscross Pattern To Form A Fine Net, Which Contain Tiny Trapped Air Bubbles. In The Case Of This Piece, The Bubbles Are Extremely Small. As You Can See There Are 3 Sections To This Vase. The Three Sections Were Assembled Using The Complex Incalmo Process, Where Each Section Is Made Separately, And Then Assembled While The Glass Is Hot. This Is A Very Complex Piece To Make.
